The story behind
Tera Trade.
We’re a family-run furniture business in Puncak Alam, Selangor. This is how a hobby became our work.
HOW IT BEGAN
First a hobby.
Then people started asking.
When Tera Trade started in 2021, making furniture was still a hobby for Basyeer. There was no long company history behind it. Just an interest in working with wood and making something with his own hands.
Then friends and people he knew began asking him to make things for them. Those requests gave him a reason to take the work further. He began accepting custom furniture orders and renovation jobs, and gradually, that hobby became a family business.
That beginning means a lot to us. The first people who placed an order knew Basyeer personally. They trusted him to make something they would bring into their homes. As Tera Trade grows and we meet customers who have never met us before, we want to be worthy of that same trust.
Today, we’re a small, family-run business based in Puncak Alam, Selangor. Our work has grown to include furniture, woodwork, steel pieces and renovation projects. But it still comes back to something quite simple: someone has an idea for their home or business, and they’re trusting us to help make it happen.

We know we’re a newer business. We also know that ordering custom furniture is a big decision. You’re spending money on something you’ll see and use every day, often for a space you’ve spent a long time planning.
That’s why attention to detail matters so much to us. A table needs to fit the room. A wardrobe needs to work for the person using it. The wood, the measurements and the finish all deserve care. We use high-quality wood because the material is part of what makes a piece worth keeping.
We want to feel proud of what leaves our hands. More than that, we want you to feel happy having it in your home. That’s the kind of business we’re trying to build, one order at a time.
